PLANNED POWER OUTAGE: Electrical work in Elizabeth City may cause temporary outages on Tuesday, Aug. 25, beginning at 1 a.m. and lasting about 2 hours. Areas include Herrington Rd, Weeksville Rd, River Rd, Walker Ave, Southern Ave, Downtown, Camden Causeway and Waterfront areas. Plan now for any devices requiring constant power.
