VDEM: Amherst County Sheriff's Office: Subject fled custody at Blue Ridge Regional Jail in Madison Heights near Rts. 29/210 at 7:15pm, Fri 4/3/26. White male, bald, mid 30s, face/neck tattoos. Wearing white shirt, jeans, handcuffs. Considered dangerous. Last seen on foot near jail. Residents within 5 miles: lock doors, stay inside. Report sightings to 9-1-1
