The National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
The Eaton burn scar and vicinity in...
Central Los Angeles County in southwestern California...

* Until noon PST.

* At 939 AM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain intensifying over the Eaton Burn Scar. The expected
rainfall rate is 0.5 to 1 inch in 1 hour. Flash flooding and
debris flows are ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

Excessive rainfall over the burn scar may result in flash flooding
and debris flow moving through the Eaton Burn Scar and surrounding
areas. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and
other loose materials.

HAZARD...Life threatening debris flows in and around the Eaton
Burn Scar.

SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

IMPACT...Mud, rock, and debris flows will impact drainages,
roads, and residences in and directly below the burn
area.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Mount Wilson, Pasadena, Altadena, Sierra Madre, Arcadia and
Monrovia.
And all of the Eaton Burn Scar and vicinity.
</description><instruction>DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TRAVEL UNLESS FLEEING AN AREA SUBJECT TO FLOODING
OR UNDER AN EVACUATION ORDER.

This is a life threatening situation. Heavy rainfall will cause
extensive and severe flash flooding of creeks...streams...and
ditches in the Eaton Burn Scar. Severe debris flows can also be
anticipated across roads. Roads and driveways may be washed away in
places.

A Flash Flood Warning for a recent burn area means that flooding and
debris flows are imminent or occurring. Residents living in or
immediately downstream should take immediate precautions. Once
again, do not attempt to travel unless fleeing an area subject to
flooding or under an evacuation order.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.</instruction><web>http://www.weather.gov</web><parameter><valueName>AWIPSidentifier</valueName><value>FFWLOX</value></parameter><parameter><valueName>WMOidentifier</valueName><value>WGUS56 KLOX 151739</value></parameter><parameter><valueName>flashFloodDetection</valueName><value>RADAR AND GAUGE INDICATED</value></parameter><parameter><valueName>flashFloodDamageThreat</valueName><value>CONSIDERABLE</value></parameter><parameter><valueName>BLOCKCHANNEL</valueName><value>EAS</value></parameter><parameter><valueName>BLOCKCHANNEL</valueName><value>NWEM</value></parameter><parameter><valueName>EAS-ORG</valueName><value>WXR</value></parameter><parameter><valueName>VTEC</valueName><value>/O.NEW.KLOX.FF.W.0031.251115T1739Z-251115T2000Z/</value></parameter><parameter><valueName>eventEndingTime</valueName><value>2025-11-15T12:00:00-08:00</value></parameter><parameter><valueName>WEAHandling</valueName><value>Imminent Threat</value></parameter><parameter><valueName>CMAMtext</valueName><value>NWS: FLASH FLOOD WARNING this area til 12:00 PM PST.
